Hey! Welcome to whiteleafplants!
Our names are Milana and Tobias and we are two students from Germany who share a passion for rare plants. Ever since I (Milana) can remember, nature and plants have been a big part (if not the biggest part) of my life. That's probably why I am studying biology. Our shared journey with rare plants began as I one day stumbled upon a beautiful Monstera varieagata seedling that caught my eye and was immediately captivated by its beauty and stunning white variegation. When I brought the plant home, my boyfriend Tobias, who was initially sceptical, fell in love with its intricate pattern. As the little seedling grew in our care, our love for rare plants only grew with it and whilst our monstera was pushing out leaf after leaf, our apartment filled with a myriad of exotic plant babies. It was and still is super fascinating to watch the little seedlings grow into large plants with various leaves, each stunning in its own way. One shelf of plants turned into two, and two turned into six, until we had an entire growhouse (literally) in our living room. What started as a hobby soon turned into more when we started selling plants at a local marketplace. Our decision to sell some of our rare treasures soon paid off as positive feedback poured in. This, along with the fact that even our apartment was no longer big enough to store all of our plant babies anymore, led us to the decision to rent out our own shop were we are now storing, taking care of and selling our plants. On our journey we have learned that sometimes it can be difficult to get rare plants, so it is important to us to make rare plants accessible to everyone and bring the jungle into your home. Our goal is to offer affordable, high quality plants along with the best possible service and always take great care to make sure that our plants arrive safely in their new homes. We now sell plants all over the world and are excited to be part of the plant community. We hope you enjoy our plants as much as we enjoy bringing them to you.
